Evangelia Manos Conroy Philadelphia Public Servant
Evangelia grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She attended Dickinson Law School in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, along with her sister Pauline Manos Steiner. Upon graduation, Evangelia began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. She remained an Assistant District Attorney for over 16 years, predominantly investigating and prosecuting sexual assault cases.
After leaving the District Attorney’s Office, she became a Divisional Deputy City Solicitor for the City’s Law Department. She worked in the Child Welfare Unit for two years before starting her current position as Chief of Staff for the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Cabinet of the City of Philadelphia’s Managing Director’s Office.
Evangelia has served on the Board of the Hellenic University Club of Philadelphia and as a Past President. She currently serves on the Executive Board for St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral as well as Vice President for St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral Philoptochos.
