Zoe Stoffan

Zoe Stoffan My Yiayia
These two photos are of my maternal grandmother Zoe Stoffan. She was an icon in the St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral community where she devoted her life after moving here in the late 1940s. You would always see her in her third pew, right side seat Sunday after Sunday!
Everyone who knew her loved her. Many would seek her blessings and prayers. She truly was the holiest woman I ever knew. Here she is seen with her beloved “prosfora” as she so devotedly made every week. Above is a photo of her and her husband shortly after arriving in America!
