Vilma Liacouras Chantilis Cookbook Author
Vilma Liacouras Chantilis is a first-generation Greek American, daughter of James and Stella Liacouras. She grew up at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Philadelphia. She has published several books on Greek cooking including the well-known – THE FOOD OF GREECE. Her books are not just a collection of recipes but an ode to the Greek concept of food as an expression of the good in Greek culture. She left Philadelphia and moved to Scarsdale, New York, where she wrote for Readers Digest and lived with her husband and three children.
