The Evzones
The Evzones, Reading PA, 1967-1973

The band began in Reading, Pennsylvania, in 1967. The members were in middle or high school and were learning music and how to play instruments.
Their first job was the wedding reception of Stelios and Cornelia Dikos, which eventually led to several other jobs that mainly consisted of weddings, baptisms and church dance events.
Within 2 years, Anthony and Stavros left the band and Milton Gasparis and Steve Flamporis joined the band which enjoyed success playing for several years as the Evzones.
The band disbanded around 1973.
