Never able to read or write music, everything he played was by ear, “like the birds”, he used to say. He had an amazing ability to hear it once and play it back with a passion.
Originally From Orma, Greece on May 5, 1970, he and his family immigrated to the United States, to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
During the 1970s, Alex played all over the greater Northeast United States, from New York to Washington, DC.
