The students have had one field trip this year where they visited the Waterworks Museum in Philadelphia. Additional trips to the Constitution Center and baseball stadium are planned for the Spring.
As part of the Greek American Heritage Society of Philadelphia sponsored mentor workshop, each student will present a paper at the end of the workshop describing in a sentence or two how a specific Greek virtue relates back to the theme of each session.
They will also write a paragraph detailing the experience of the workshop that had the most impact in them. In addition the students discuss personal responsibility, a crucial element of Greek philosophy, in their mentoring sessions.
